Jam Packed Weekend

This weekend we had so much fun and did so much neat stuff worthy of blogging! Unfortunately the camera cord is at home in London and we are still here in Toronto so a more extensive post will have to wait, however, here are some highlights:

Friday

• successful Week 2 session of our running clinic
• got an email that I won $25 as a runner up for a Great Ideas in Teaching Contest paper I wrote over the holidays.
  

Saturday

• we got the house cleaner than it's probably ever been;
  
• visited with our friends Justin & Kristin who were visiting from Toronto and Guelph respectively;
• had a delicious brocolli soup dinner with new friends Kirsi & Jorg from Frankfurt and Munich;
• met up with J & K and K & J for the London Wine and Food show where good times were had;
  
• went to a Martini Bar!

Sunday

• had delicious turkey bacon and eggs breakfast with J & K
• drove to Toronto while being soooo thankful for good driving weather (it looked dicey at first)
• celebrated Silvana, Lenny's mom's birthday, at the Mandarin
• had some delicious birthday cake from St. Phillips Bakery
• took a very excited-to-see-us-again Dakota for a quite zip around the block
• had Dakota model my latest scarf: a dark navy blue ribbed pattern, now about 3 feet long (quite an accomplishment as it was only about 6" Friday night!)
• finished a nagging group project for HR Planning
