Byebye Dakota!

Tonight we bid farewell to our doggie sitting days as Len's mom & Mark are back from Jamaica. Thankfully they were kind enough to drive down here from Toronto to pick her up and they took us out to dinner. P Za Pie. Love that place.

We were a little more lax with Dakota today because we knew we were getting rid of her tonight. This morning she got to snuggle in bed with me (washing the sheets tonight), she got three or four milk bones over the course of the day (usually she only gets one from us), Lenny let her lick the food processor clean after making some hummus (poor Silvana and Mark - not only is she going to have stinky breath on the way home she's gonna toot the whole way too), and finally I let her lick my lunch bowl clean. She did this in a funny manner so we took a pic:

Silvana & Mark also brought me back some gifts from Jamaica. How nice is that?! First I got to pick my own bag:
"
If you wait to be happy, you will wait forever. If you are happy now, you will be happy forever."And a knife!! But not just any knife -- it's for pedicures and made with Jamaican sand!
Looks pretty beefy eh?

Anyhoo I'm going to try and make the most of my skipping class tonight. Between the surprise snow storm outside, Lenny's mom & mark were down to visit for dinner and it running late, my stomache acting up, not doing the readings, and recovering from "orchestra back" after sitting in those darn ergonomic music chairs this afternoon, 3-hr night class was just not going to happen. Ciao ciao for now!
