Well it's less than a month away now; yeah crunch time! I'm feeling pretty comfortable though already. On the program is the Prelude de Concert by Pierne, the Fantasiestucke pieces by Schumann (originally for cello, often performed on clarinet), Anerca by Milton Barnes (a Torontonian), and the Hurlestone Sonata for Bassoon. Many of you are probably familiar with the Fantasiestucke, even if you don't know it by name. You can check out the first movement, performed by the lovely Wendy Warner here:
Anyhoo, I'm off to read a gadzillion chapters of marketing. Just thought I'd share this performance with you ;)
