Why Yes! We *do* have five feet of snow outside

As the title suggest, we are indeed in the middle of a rather large snowstorm that has kindly given me TWO snow days in a row. With any luck the weathermen will be right and this will stretch into a three-day snow day. This would be particularly awesome as I am currently writing a paper and studying for an exam supposedly occurring tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. I would be most grateful if I didn't have to write it anytime soon...Anyhoo, enough with the chit chat, let's move on to everyone's favourite: pictures!

This picture was taken about 6:00 last night. By 8:00 this morning we had TWICE as much snow. So. Much. Snow. At least it is the light & fluffy kind so shovelling isn't too treacherous.


Here is a picture of Lenny with his new toy, our landlord's snowblower. It was pretty fun to watch him because every time I'd turn around from shoveling, he'd have this big smirk on his face that read: new toys! My Favourite!


Keep this next picture in mind as I show an updated photo from the dining room window overlooking the same fence now.
I think it is safe to say that this is the most snow I've ever seen in one place anywhere ever. The best part is that it's still coming down and isn't supposed to stop until Thursday!
