So Mr. Cableman, scheduled to arrive at 8, arrived at 10 this morning to do his thing. Unfortunately signing up for an HD package does not mean they will give you an HD box so this afternoon while I was having a lesson, Lenny went to the Rogers store to get a box and new remote. Unfortunately while setting it up tonight, he realized that the remote was better destined for the garbage as it was cracked down the back and didn't have any electrical leads thus not being able to make any use of the batteries. So back to the store we went tonight during which I developed a migraine from all of the beautiful shiny crazy lights. After coming back and having a nap on the sofa I awoke to discover some beautiful HD tv! It may have been a long time coming but it looks great! It's kind of fun to play mind games by convincing yourself that the people on TV are real. The amusement may come from my residual fever and/or migraine. Whatever is going on, this is fun. :)
This Sunday, if all goes well, we're going to try to head back to Toronto for a visit, pick up some snow tires, and perhaps take a visit to the Toronto Christmas Market. It looks like a wonderful mix of guy stuff and girl stuff.
Well off to enjoy some TV. New Office on at 8:30!
