I came across this recipe of Spiced Zucchini Cupcakes and fell in love with the idea. Tonight we're celebrating a friend's birthday, so it was the perfect opportunity to try the recipe out.

And here's how mine turned out!
I had some fancy muffin liners that I was happy to use in lieu of fancy the cupcakes up with piping the icing (soooooooo annoying to clean the piping bags...). Due to the lack of cream cheese in this house however, I opted for a traditional butter cream icing. The Scrabble letters I had left over from an earlier project, so I was able to spell out Valeria's name!
Well that's all that was fun for today. Wish us luck for tomorrow -- 9 am we pick Sally up!
