We met a very energetic Rocky (a Schnauzer):
And a very timid Lucille (Jack Russell Terrier):
We're going to keep looking and hope for something in between energy-wise. I'm lining up visits to see three dogs held by the All Breed Canine Rescue in London, so hopefully one of these pan out:

I think I'm a little more excited than Lenny is about the whole process, but he's a pretty busy bee these days with work, scholarship applications, and preparing for a December conference presentation in Denver. It'll be nice for him to having a running companion that can keep up more than me though! I'm also looking forward to a walking companion and something to throw my energies into.
