Favourite Photos of Tuscany

Tuscany was Stunning. The landscapes varied quite a bit, but there were generally a lot of rolling green hills and a lot of farm country. Here are some of my favourite pictures.

The interior of the Cathedral in Sienna. There's a lot of zebra marble here (black and white ones molded together) and it was one of the most unique finds in any of the churches we explored in Italy. We actually ended up buying a few prints to hang in our bedroom in Italy and the interior of this church is one of them.

This church had a handful of graduals on display. We have one of these antique choir books at the Faculty of Music here, but it was still really neat to unexpectedly find one on display in Italy.

I was so excited to pet all the animals. This cow loved me so much that he went in for a kiss/sneeze!

 

This is what I looked like after five glasses of wine at said winery. I've Never seen my face this red before but I was really really happy!

 

This was probably not the best order of things, but after the winery we went to Pisa to climb the tower. This picture is of the church that the tower belongs to.

The view was pretty spectacular from the top. I felt so proud of myself for sticking out the 100s of stairs in 35-degree weather after 5 glasses of wine. Go Heather!

 

The climb was not quite as big of a feat for Lenny. Here he is showcasing another part of the amazing view.
