Favourite Photos of Milan

Time for my favourite pictures of Milan. Wowsers: it was awesome.
This is the Duomo di Milano. The architecture was a lot different than many of the other churches we'd been seeing in Italy.

This arch is the opening to an indoor concourse/shopping centre of a lot of elite shops. Beautiful.
The inside of the shopping concourse. Pretty pretty eh?

This is Santa Maria della Grazie, where the Last Supper (L'Ultima Cena) has its home. You need to by tickets to see the painting months in advance so we enjoyed the outside instead. :)
My friends Jorg & Kirsi joined us for much of the day. While they call Germany home, Kirsi was working in Milan at the time and Jorg was there to visit. It was SO wonderful to spend time with one of our favourite couples in such a beautiful city. Hopefully the next visit will be in cooler temperatures but it was still so much fun!
A picture of one of the celebratory arches in the city. The architectural detail still amazes me.
Another celebratory arch in a nearby park.
A castle-like arch that you get to walk through to enter the Michelango park.
The beautiful entrance of the Michelango park.

This was Such a beautiful park.
Italian pride in the streets.

So there you go! We only spent 6 hours in Milano so there aren't many pictures of landmarks, but hopefully you enjoyed the few ones we saw as much as we did.
