Favourite Photos of Florence

Lenny's favourite city was Florence and I have to say it was pretty high up there for me. There was a lot to see within a short walk and everything was quite beautiful. I had a hard time adjusting to the temperature but I'd definitely like to go back there again sometime when I'm a little bit more like myself. Alas, here are some of my favourite pictures of Florence.

The Duomo and Baptistry of Florence. The marble work was a-mazing.

Check out all that craftsmanship!

Even the doors were fancy-pancy. This is the plainest one at the rear of the cathedral.

I forget the name of the building, but it's Piazza Vecchio and in front of the door is an outdoor replica of David (this is where the statue would have originally stood).

Another statue in Piazza Vecchia

So there you go. Not a lot of photos but we did a day trip of Tuscany and another one to Vinci while we were in Florence so those have already been covered on the blog. Hope you enjoyed the most popular things of Florence (that we could take pictures of!).
