GTs in the O-dot

So we all had a *wonderful* time this past weekend with the Wind Ensemble's Eastern Ontario tour. It was really great to have conversations with people that I see every week but have never been able to learn their name or anything much about them.
Here are some pictures from our time:

The Peace Tower at the Parliament Building at night.

One of the 10 Shawarma-serving places we came across over a 30-minute walk on Thursday night. I had *no* idea that there were more Shawarma places than Tim Horton's, by like 3:1, in Ottawa. Bus No. 1 had many many references to shawarmas for the entire trip that kept me quite entertained. Still undecided is whether it has two or three syllables.

Psalm 139 (part of Canada's "official" Psalm) still hangs in Parliament.
Paul & I chillin' (quite literally... the wind was SO cold) by the Rideau Canal.
I apologize for no long exciting text-filled posts but I'm really fighting off a cold and (likely stress-induced) tummy pains so I'm going to hit the sac early.
